How it all began
It all started with a swipe…
On an app called The League (thanks to a little encouragement from Celeste’s best friend, Kathleen). After matching, we met for our first date at Kalimotxo, a Spanish restaurant in downtown Austin. We clicked instantly but took our time building something real—wanting to make sure we got it right. And we did!
From the start, we bonded over a shared love of good food, dogs, and travel—but it quickly became clear there was something much deeper. Everything just felt right: easy, exciting, and full of possibility.
Three years later, just before a tasting dinner at the Commodore Perry, a carefully planned surprise unfolded. With our closest friends and family nearby, the proposal was more magical than we could have imagined.
Now we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
